As summer approaches, there’s no better time to lace up your boots and embark on an adventure that matters, not just for you, but for others too. This year, we’re incredibly proud to be partnering with Unique Kidz and Co, an inspiring charity based in Morcambe Bay that’s transforming lives through inclusive support for children and young adults with disabilities. 

Fire and Ice Trek – in Iceland! 

Taking part in these challenges provide the opportunity to experience a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, whilst giving back at the same time. We don’t often challenge ourselves to do something out of our comfort zone, to really push us and test ourselves. To be able to do so in a safe environment with other fundraisers to support, for a great charity, well, what’s not to love about that recipe. Sukanya can’t wait to get started and to experience the beauty of Iceland, with the team fundraising for Unique Kidz and Co.

Who Is Unique Kidz and Co?

Born from a very personal need, Unique Kidz and Co was founded in 2009 by two determined mums who struggled to find the right support for their own disabled children. From that spark came a charity that has since grown to support over a hundred local families with inclusive play, social activities, daytime support and so much more. 

Their work is centred around community, offering everything from after-school and holiday clubs for ages 5-19, to daytime services for young adults aged up to around 30. They also run sibling groups, parent support spaces, and even a toy library full of specialist resources. 

For the families they support, Unique Kidz and Co is more than a charity, it’s a trusted place where everyone belongs.
