Live ceilidh, festive hot food, community and a very joyful end to the Pod-year

Come and round out the year with us at The Merriest Podmas Party, a Sukanya: the Walk and Talk Podcast gathering full of community, dancing, laughter and a few little surprises along the way.

This is not your stiff work Christmas do where everyone politely stands near the crisps. This is a proper festive get-together with heart.

We’ll have a live ceilidh with Slip the Jig, a brilliant Penrith-based band bringing the music, movement and good cheer. No experience needed, or fancy footwork expected, just bring yourself, your friends and a willingness to have a go.

We’ll also have the ever popular Heather with her face paints for you to express your festive cheer, literally!

There’ll be food, dancing, prizes to win, and plenty of time to chat, meet lovely people and celebrate getting through another big, beautiful, messy year.

DRESS CODE: That item in your wardrobe you never know where to wear! (or whatever you are comfortable in)

Whether you’re a podcast listener, guest, supporter, friend of the pod, or just someone who fancies a festive night out with good people, you are very welcome.

This night is for anyone who wants a warm, welcoming festive evening without the awkward networking energy.

How we think it will go…

6.30pm: Welcome, face painting, icebreaker and raffle (cash or card – paypal link will probably be shared on the day – all money raised will go towards Sukanya’s Unique Kidz and Co fundraiser)
6.45pm: Food, drinks and mingling
7.45pm: Ceilidh, first set
8.30pm: Break
9.00pm: Ceilidh, second set
10.00pm: Finish

This is a community celebration from Sukany4: The Walk and Talk Podcast, created to bring people together, share a bit of joy, and close the year with our feet on the floor and our hearts a little fuller.
