Resistance Rhythm: Three Interconnected Journeys: Joy. Voice. Rest.
Going deeper together.
Where personal wellbeing meets collective action.
Where do we put our big emotions?
How do we process our rage, grief and frustration?
How do we find steadiness in a world that feels increasingly uncertain, without withdrawing from the things we care about?
These are some of the questions at the heart of Resistance Rhythm.
Following our inaugural series, we’re taking the conversation further with Three Journeys, exploring Joy, Voice and Rest.
Looking after ourselves and caring about the world shouldn’t have to be competing priorities.
And none of us needs to figure it all out alone.
Three themes. Nine sessions. One shared journey.
01. Resistance as JOY
November 2026 to February 2027
Joy isn’t a distraction from what matters. It can be part of what sustains us.
We’ll explore intentional pleasure, creativity, play and collective joy, including how we make room for enjoyment without guilt or disconnecting from the realities around us.
02. Resistance as VOICE
April to June 2027
Speaking up isn’t always loud. But silence can have a cost.
We’ll explore self-trust, boundaries, honest expression and the power of individual and collective voices in our relationships, communities and the wider world.
03. Resistance as REST
September to November 2027
Rest isn’t giving up. It’s part of how we keep going.
We’ll explore restoration, the pressures that keep us pushing through, and how to build more sustainable rhythms of care, solidarity and meaningful action.
What do The Three Journeys include?
Nine live, facilitated online sessions with Katy Murray and Sukanya Nallaiah.
Across the year, we’ll bring together:
- Thoughtful perspectives and guided reflection
- Honest conversations and opportunities to connect
- Practical approaches to explore in everyday life
- Space to consider the relationship between personal wellbeing and collective action
- A consistent community to return to as we explore each theme
This isn’t about collecting more information or becoming endlessly resilient.
It’s about finding the space, support and connection to put what matters into practice.
Taking the themes into real life
Each journey also has an associated in person gathering:
- JOY: A collective movement and dance experience in March.
- VOICE: An Open Mic gathering in July.
- REST: A restorative gathering in December.
These experiences will offer opportunities to connect beyond the screen through movement, storytelling, reflection and shared expression.
In person gatherings are not included in the Three Journeys purchase and will be ticketed separately.

Meet your hosts
Resistance Rhythm is co-hosted by Katy Murray of Katy Catalyst, author of Change Makers and host of RESIST: Joy Filled Stories for Dystopian Days, and Sukanya Nallaiah, founder and host of Sukany4: The Walk and Talk Podcast.
Together, we bring facilitated reflection, change making, storytelling, movement and community into a space where we can explore the difficult questions, celebrate the good things and find ways to keep showing up for what matters.
