Session 3 is Resistance as VOICE.
Speaking up isn’t always loud. But silence has a cost.
So many of us think of “using our voice” as something bold, public, and fearless.
But voice is not always a performance.
Sometimes it is much quieter than that.
Voice can be a boundary, a truth, a no, a question, a request.
It can sound like:
I can’t do that.
That didn’t feel right to me.
I need more time.
Can we talk about this?
Actually, no.
And for many of us, that kind of honesty does not come easily.
We learn to keep the peace.
To stay agreeable.
To avoid being misunderstood.
To make ourselves smaller so things stay manageable.
But self-silencing has a cost. It can leave us disconnected from ourselves, resentful, unseen, and carrying words that never had a place to go.
This space is not about becoming louder.
It is not about forcing yourself to be fearless or say everything all at once.
It is about exploring voice as honest expression, in ways that feel safe.
